Photobucket

  1. I'm very happy with our new home that we just bought this past October! Finally after 15 years together, a place of our own!
  2. I'm also VERY happy that the snow is FINALLY melting!

3. I'm happy about our new van! Sooo much more room in this one compared to the other one!
4. I'm happy that our house is right across the street to a totally awesome, fenced in park! I can't wait for the weather to get a little better & I will be able to send the kids on over & I can sit on the porch & watch! That's how close we are!

5. I'm happy to have 4 beautiful children who I love more than anything in this world!

St. Patty's Day!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!

I'm joining Cuisine Kathleen's 3rd Annual St. Patrick's Day Crawl!

Hope everyone's day is going well! I started my morning off with some toasted Irish soda bread w/butter & strawberry jam! Yum!

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day on Sunday w/my mom, siblings, nieces & nephews. This is the platter I brought over to represent the Irish flag. I think it was gone in a matter of 15 minutes.

My mom buys all the kids St. Patty's t-shirts every year. Braedon's says "The leprechaun's made me do it!" Perfect for him! LOL

LuLu being crazy!

The kids decorated green cupcakes. Yeah, Rylan ate his instead, or should I say wore it!

Hubby's working all day & night. He works at an Irish pub so it will be packed! Lauren is at dance from 3:30 - 8:00. So, it's just me & the younger 3. We won't be having corned beef & cabbage because my kids don't like it. LuLu was sent home from school today for a slight fever, so it'll probably be a soup night.

Now I'm going to share some of the Irish things in my home I have. This cute little sign I received from a friend a few years ago.

I saw this back in Oct. (along w/other Irish things you will see as you scroll down) when I went on my yearly girls weekend trip to Maine. I wanted it really bad, so when my mom went down the next weekend for her girls trip, she bought it for Christmas for me. Yes I'm Irish & proud of it!

My calender, another gift from mom!

This is my dining room table. Got the tablecloth at Marshalls for $10 bucks!

Yup, from mom.....I LOVE these!
and another from mom....

Got this at Marshalls the same day I got the tablecloth for $5 bucks! Smells wonderful!

I've had this vase for many years, it's from Partylite.

My aunt gave this to us when we bought the house.

Braedon all decked out for the day!

Rylan, this shirt is perfect for him as well! He's a huge mommy's boy!

My little Irish princess, this morning before she was sent home from school.

Hope everyone has a great day/night! I wish I could go out & celebrate, oh well maybe next year! What are your plans? Tell me all about them, I would love to hear what you did!

I leave you with this little Irish angel blessing.....

Now go check out all the other blogs @ Kathleen's party! It's so cool to see how everyone celebrates St. Patrick's Day!

Here's to everyone having a happy, healthy & safe St. Patty's Day!

Goodwill Finds!

After dropping hubby off at work this morning I stopped at the Goodwill. Again to see if there would be anything for the playroom but no luck with that. However I did get some other great stuff! I now know to get there earlier in the day! My mom loves these coffee pots & swears that they make the best coffee! So when I saw this one for $1.29 I of course snagged it for her!

I've been looking for canisters for the pantry but I haven't wanted to spend $25 - 30 on some of the sets I've seen. I'm glad I didn't because these were $2.79 each & the small one was $.80! SCORE!

I'm always loosing my keys & this was I think $.80!

A cute little jewelery box. Now I can get rid of one of my other ones that I've had for way too long. I'm thinking of spray painting it. Hmmm... what color? Need to think about that one. Oh yeah, $ 2.79!

My most favorite find of the day! It was still in the original store package! When I turned it over & saw it was only $3.99 I was sooo excited! SCORE!

Here it is w/our pic in it.

In it's new home!

I bought Braedon a candy land dvd game for $1.79 as well. All this for about $20.00! I love finding great deals!
Have a great night all!

Advice/Ideas with Playroom Redo Needed!

We started the renovation w/the kids playroom. I wasn't planning on putting up any pics until we were done. But there are sooo many talented fellow bloggers out there that I am dying to know what you would do w/this space! I originally was going to paint this room a sage green on top & cream on bottom but the kids didn't like that idea very much. Lauren was like "we need to have some FUN colors down here!" So Mickey & I decided to give them a fun, bright playroom! Now anyone who knows me, knows I'm not a fan of pink at all! But when I saw these 2 colors on the pamphlet next to each other they called my name. Pink for the girls & blue for the boys! We also are planning on carpeting down there. We hemmed & hawed whether or not to do this or the snap together wood floors, but decided it would be safer w/carpet when it comes to anyone falling it & it will probably be warmer as well. I want to know what kind of storage would you use? We have lots of books, toys & board games! Where would you look to find things like toy boxes, bookshelves & other storage units?

Over in this corner is where the cable is so I figured we would put the t.v. here. Because of the pole it would be impossible for a couch to fit so should I use a loveseat or do something like beanbag chairs?

This little shelf thingy I painted yellow tonight (this pic was taken obviously before). What should I use it for?

Don't mind the mess! Hubby's getting rid of that tomorrow.

Ok what do you think of the colors? And PLEASE give me any ideas/advice you come up with or have!! I would greatly appreciate it! Can't wait to see what you all come up with!

linking up to Debbiedo's Newbie Party!
