St. Patty's Day!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!

I'm joining Cuisine Kathleen's 3rd Annual St. Patrick's Day Crawl!

Hope everyone's day is going well! I started my morning off with some toasted Irish soda bread w/butter & strawberry jam! Yum!

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day on Sunday w/my mom, siblings, nieces & nephews. This is the platter I brought over to represent the Irish flag. I think it was gone in a matter of 15 minutes.

My mom buys all the kids St. Patty's t-shirts every year. Braedon's says "The leprechaun's made me do it!" Perfect for him! LOL

LuLu being crazy!

The kids decorated green cupcakes. Yeah, Rylan ate his instead, or should I say wore it!

Hubby's working all day & night. He works at an Irish pub so it will be packed! Lauren is at dance from 3:30 - 8:00. So, it's just me & the younger 3. We won't be having corned beef & cabbage because my kids don't like it. LuLu was sent home from school today for a slight fever, so it'll probably be a soup night.

Now I'm going to share some of the Irish things in my home I have. This cute little sign I received from a friend a few years ago.

I saw this back in Oct. (along w/other Irish things you will see as you scroll down) when I went on my yearly girls weekend trip to Maine. I wanted it really bad, so when my mom went down the next weekend for her girls trip, she bought it for Christmas for me. Yes I'm Irish & proud of it!

My calender, another gift from mom!

This is my dining room table. Got the tablecloth at Marshalls for $10 bucks!

Yup, from mom.....I LOVE these!
and another from mom....

Got this at Marshalls the same day I got the tablecloth for $5 bucks! Smells wonderful!

I've had this vase for many years, it's from Partylite.

My aunt gave this to us when we bought the house.

Braedon all decked out for the day!

Rylan, this shirt is perfect for him as well! He's a huge mommy's boy!

My little Irish princess, this morning before she was sent home from school.

Hope everyone has a great day/night! I wish I could go out & celebrate, oh well maybe next year! What are your plans? Tell me all about them, I would love to hear what you did!

I leave you with this little Irish angel blessing.....

Now go check out all the other blogs @ Kathleen's party! It's so cool to see how everyone celebrates St. Patrick's Day!

Here's to everyone having a happy, healthy & safe St. Patty's Day!

  1. Allison, this is such a fun post! Your kids are so cute, especially the one with all the icing on his little face! I love your tablecloth. And I have to ask: what does the Yankee Candle smell like? It looks like it would be fun to have :D
