 Rylan discovered he could climb into the toy box! This is how I found him yesterday, he was trying to get out but couldn't quite make it. I was cracking up laughing & of course ran to take a quick pic! Wonder what he'll discover next!

I can't believe my little man is 4 already! Time passes so quickly! Such a good little boy! Mommy & Daddy love you so much! We had his party last night, I love when I am able to have their parties on their actual birthday! It just seems even more special. He received many wonderful gifts which he loved! His choice theme this year was a  Toy Story party. Here below is him with his wake-up birthday cupcake. We suprised him with it & he loved it! And his gift from us, which he absolutely loves!

Rememebering 9/11

Do you remember where you were & what you were doing when you heard of the attacks on the twin towers?

I do. Like most people I remember everything about that day as though it was yesterday! Mickey & I were living on Lenox Ave. at the time with Lauren. She was 4 & our only child at the time. Hubby was sleeping, I was up getting Lauren ready for daycare, which was across the street for us. The news was on & I was also on the phone with my best friend, Carrie. As we were chit chatting, all of a sudden they started showing how the first tower was hit. Well they didn't know yet it was because of a plane. So, I'm telling Carrie to turn on the news & check it out, she was trying to get the t.v. away from the kids (cartoons). And I saw the second plane coming! I started screaming for her to hurry up & turn the news on & for mickey to get up & see this! Lauren even came out of her room, asking "what's the matter mommy?" I tried explaining it the best I could. She had many questions! I remember I was kinda in a daze, disbelief that this was happening as I brought Lauren to daycare & went to work. At the time I was working as a waitress/hostess at Kimball Farms. After work I picked Lauren up from daycare & went to Mt. Greylock Nursing Home to see my parents, who are both nurses & working there at the time. My father was in the Coast Guard. I'll never forget walking in to my mom's office, my mom, dad, & co-workers Rosealie& Jane were in there. My dad was just staring at the t.v., eyes red, in shock just shaking his head, saying "I can't believe they did this, we are going to end up at war!" My mom crying because she was nervous that my dad was going to get called. Me just standing there not knowing what to say.

I watched some of  the news today that was showing the original airing of the news that day. It just all comes flooding back everytime I see it. Lauren came in & watched a little to with me. I asked her if she remembers any of that day, but she doesn't really. I thought she would have but then again she was only 4.

RIP to all those who lost their lives that day! And God Bless their families! I will NEVER FORGET!

First Day of Preschool

Today was Braedon's first day of preschool. He couldn't wait to go. Last year when we sent him he went in the afternoon's for two days a week. This year he is going in the mornings for three days a week. He likes being able to get ready & go to school in the morning like the girls do! My little man will be 4 on Sunday, I can't believe it, how time flies!

When I got there to pick him up, he came running to me calling me! I love when he does that, I missed him too! Picnic Time!

Sunday we went to my friend Alison's house for a Labor Day picnic. We got there about 3:30 & stayed till like 8:00. We had fun, lots of good food & laughs! Her oldest is 16 & Braedon loved him. He kept "scaring" him & Brae was cracking up, it was so darn cute he had all of us laughing! I wish now I had taken some video of it. She also has a daughter who is a couple weeks older than LuLu & they get along great, so much that it wasn't easy getting her to leave when it was time to go. Declan is her 8 year old who was hanging out with Lauren for a bit playing Badmitten. And her youngest is Taejan, he just turned 5. Him & Brae were also playing together for a while. Of course I took some pictures, not as many as I normally do cause I spent alot of my time chasing Rye who is definitely getting around much more!

Didn't get many pics w/Laci because she wasn't in the mood. She didn't want me "bugging" her & Jadziah. So I didn't push her. My kids get along so well with her kids. I told them all once we are settled in the new house we will have them over!

Lauren's First Day of 8th Grade

Well it was Lauren's turn this morning. First day of 8th grade! She wasn't as excited to go back as Laci was. Except for being able to get all new school supplies & clothes. Of course she loves that. And seeing all her friends too! I can't believe she will be graduating this year, seems like yesterday I was saying this about her graduating from 5th grade! Of course I wanted a couple pictures of her this morning & she was not thrilled about this but let me take 2.


She just looks so thrilled! haha Oh well I told her she needed to be nice & deal with it! Someday she'll appreciate all the pictures I take.

Laci's First Day of School

Today was LuLu's first day of 2nd grade! She was really excited! Here's the new school bag. She's growing up too quick, refused to get a backpack this year, she just had to have this tote! How could I say no? You can't tell in the pic but the peace sign is actually sequins, it's so Laci.
