5 year old calls 911

As I was surfing other blogs I found this video of a 5 year old calling 911 because her father was having chest pains. It was so adorable I had to post to my blog. These parents taught their child well! I've taught mine about calling 911 and I just hope that if the time ever arises my children will be as calm and focused as she was! So check it out, like I said adorable!

First Steps....

Sunday night I caught Rylan on video taking some of his first steps! He's not totally walking, he would rather crawl right now. But I think soon enough he will be more confident & then I'll be chasing him everywhere. My husband can't wait for him to start walking, he loves the toddler stage. Me on the other hand will be excited for Rylan but kinda sad cause my favorite stage is the baby stage.


I also caught the boys on video giving kisses & hugs to each other it's so darn cute!






I made mini ice-cream sandwiches for the kids Sunday night. The kids loved them, although a little messy. I made the chocolate chip cookies. Once they were cooled I added cookies & cream ice cream in between then drizzled chocolate sauce over the top. Put them in the freezer for at least a half hour & enjoy! Even Rylan tried a little & got it all over himself.

4H Fair

We went to the 4H Fair today. Lauren was dancing today along with many others from her dance studio. She did tap & hip hop. She did great as always. It was a nice day for it, not to hot. They had some games for the kids to play, food, animals, bouncy house, etc. Laci & Braedon went right to the games first! They were cute. Then Laci saw the bunnies & that was it! She's now begging for one. There must have been about 25 of them there. All different colors, sizes & breeds. There were 4 black & white babies that were 2 months old that she pretty much stayed with. Carrying them like babies. She loves animals, maybe she'll end up being a vet when she's older. Halloween in August

This weekend at my mom's camper it was Halloween in August. They have activities all weekend & trick or treat for all the kids. The kids love it because that's twice a year they get to go trick or treating. Lauren & my mom got back from Maine yesterday so they met us up there. The kids went for a quick swim before dinner then it was time to get ready. Lauren dressed up as a Stop sign, pretty creative huh! She had everyone cracking up & she won for most creative costume! Laci dressed up as a zombie bride, Braedon dressed as Thomas the Train & Rylan was a dalmation. He wasn't in a very good mood though so I didn't get any pics of him. After trick or treat there is a costume contest for most original, cutest, scariest, prettiest & best costume. Like I said earlier Lauren won for most original & my niece Isabella won cutest. Trip To The Museum

Today I took the kids to the Berkshire Museum. My kids love to go there, plus it's free for us, I bought the family pass back a few months ago. Lauren wasn't with us because she went to Maine with my mom. She left on Tuesday & will be back tomorrow. They were actually really well behaved today which was a plus for me! It was also nice today because now with Rylan being a little older & almost walking, he seemed to enjoy the visit a little more! Here they are posing with the dino, Laci's idea of course. Love watching my kids when they are learning & having fun! I am so grateful that I am able to stay home & spend time like this with them! Especially because time flies & before I know it they will be grown! So even when they are driving me crazy, I wouldn't trade them for anything!

Juicin It Up!

It was so muggy out we just kinda hung out inside today. I made pumpkin bread & corn muffins for breakfast. I don't know what got into me just felt like baking this morning. Later on after lunch we decided to get the juicer out & make some juice. Lulu & Braedon love helping me with it. First we made grape-kiwi juice it was so yummy!
Then after we were done drinking that I brought out the lemons to make lemonade. Lulu was happy cause it's one of her favorite drinks,( just like her mommy). There's nothing like homemade lemonade on a hot summer day!

I caught Rylan standing on his own a few days ago so of course I had to take a few pictures! We always clap when he does & he gets so excited! He seems really proud of himself. No steps yet, just working on his balance i guess.

Then I caught a couple days after playing with the toy vacuum and before my eyes he stands up with it & is trying to "vacuum". Got my camera in time to get another couple pics.



I brought the kids over my mom's today so they could play outside in her yard & for dinner. Braedon must have really been tuckered out from all his running around, because after I got Rylan to sleep tonite I came down the stairs & found Braedon konked out on the couch. I know one day he will hate me for this picture but I just had to! Sweet dreams buddy!
